No Outono de 2008 os “Chaos in Paradise” deram os seus primeiros passos numa pequena garagem nos arredores do Porto, aonde Alex e Quik começaram a delinear a identidade da banda. Alguns dias após, começaram a busca por outros músicos para completarem os “Chaos in Paradise” e, pouco tempo depois, encontraram Pedro para a guitarra, 19 para o baixo e Sara para as vocalizações.

Com a banda composta, o quinteto começou a escrever o seu primeiro Demo que foi lançado em Fevereiro de 2010 e incluía as canções “Dawn”, “Heading North”, "The Meaning of Being Imposed" e "Antagonized". A banda gravou-o no seu próprio estúdio e disponibilizou-o online de forma gratuita.

Depois disso, os “Chaos in Paradise” começaram os seus espetáculos ao vivo por Portugal para promoverem o seu trabalho e também para obterem experiência como banda.

No início de 2011, a banda regressou à sala de ensaios para escrever o seu novo trabalho, tentando um novo rumo de modo a melhorar a sua sonoridade, trazendo a sua própria identidade para os temas e tornando-os mais coerentes. Com a pré-produção na bagagem, as sessões de gravação do EP começaram em Março de 2011 nos estúdios Soundvision, em Vila do Conde, com Paulo Lopes na coprodução.

Do EP intitulado “Let the Bliss Remain” a banda lançou o seu primeiro single “Awareness” para os fãs e a imprensa, granjeando unânimes críticas acerca do melhoramento da sua qualidade sonora e evolução.

Com a apresentação e lançamento, em Junho de 2011, de “Let the Bliss Remain”, os “Chaos in Paradise” voltaram à estrada no mesmo mês para promoverem o seu EP em Portugal e deram o seu primeiro concerto além-fronteiras em Outubro de 2011, na Sala Excalibur em Madrid, Espanha.

Após alguns espetáculos ao vivo no final do ano, os leitores da Metal Imperium votaram e “Let the Bliss Remain” foi considerado o 3º melhor lançamento de Metal em 2011. A revista Loud!, única revista de Metal em Portugal lançou “O Melhor do Metal” em 2011 e os seus leitores consideraram os “Chaos in Paradise” a 2ª melhor banda portuguesa a atuar e premiaram-na também com um lugar no Top5 das “Melhores Bandas sem Contrato” de 2011.

À data, a banda continua a promover “Let the Bliss Remain”, não só com espetáculos ao vivo como também com o lançamento do seu primeiro vídeo “Sanzu River”, em Abril de 2012, o 3º single extraído do seu trabalho.

Em Junho de 2012, 19 deixou a banda e foi substituído por Bruno Martins. Repartidos entre espetáculos ao vivo e o estúdio, encontram-se atualmente a compor o seu primeiro longa-duração, previsto para sair no início de 2013.

In the autumn of 2008, CHAOS IN PARADISE started taking their first steps in a small garage in Oporto suburbs, where Alex and Quik began to outline the identity of the band. After a few days, they started searching for other musicians to complete CHAOS IN PARADISE and after a while they found Pedro for guitar, 19 for bass and Sara for the vocal parts.

With the band as a whole, the quintet began writing their first Demo which came out in February 2010, including the songs "Dawn", "Heading North", "The Meaning of Being Imposed" and "Antagonized". The band recorded the Demo at their own studio and released and distributed the four songs online for free!

After, CHAOS IN PARADISE began their live shows through Portugal, to promote their work and also to obtain experience as a band.

In the beginning of 2011, the band returned to the rehearsal room to start writing their following work, trying a new approach to improve their sound, bringing their own identity to it and making it more coherent. With the pre-production on the baggage, the recording sessions of the EP started in March 2011 at Soundvision Studios in Vila do Conde with Paulo Lopes in the co-production.

From the EP entitled "Let the Bliss Remain" the band released their first single "Awareness" to the fans and press, acquiring unanimous opinions expressing that their evolution and sound quality had a huge improvement.

With the "Let the Bliss Remain" presentation and release in June 2011, CHAOS IN PARADISE went back to the road in the same month to promote their EP in Portugal and they did their first International show on October of 2011 at Sala Excalibur in Madrid, Spain.

After some live shows at the end of the year, the readers of Metal Imperium voted and “Let the Bliss Remain” was considered the 3rd Best Portuguese Metal release in 2011. Loud! Magazine, the only Metal Magazine in Portugal released the Best of Metal 2011 and their readers considered CHAOS IN PARADISE the 2nd Portuguese Best New Act and awarded them with a place in the Top 5 of The Best Unsigned Bands of 2011.

At the moment, they continue to promote “Let the Bliss Remain”, not only live but with the release of their first music video “Sanzu River” on April 2012, the 3rd single extracted from their work.

On June 2012, "19" left the band and was replaced by Bruno Martins. Divided by live shows and the studio, they´re already composing their first Album and they're planning to release it in the beginning of 2013.
